The Secretary is authorized to enter into agreements with various entities, prioritizing academic institutions, including mining universities, to carry out the initiative. A report detailing the initiative's results will be submitted to Congress within three years of the Act's enactment. There is authorized $100,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2035 to carry out this section.
