This section amends the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to establish an Artificial Intelligence Agriculture Advisor. The Advisor, designated from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, is responsible for encouraging the adoption of artificial intelligence and digital agriculture technologies in each State. The Advisor's duties include providing technical assistance, workforce training, and supporting small farm enterprises in using artificial intelligence. The Advisor will collaborate with the National Institute of Standards and Technology to develop national artificial intelligence standards for the agriculture sector.
