Certain areas are excluded from the conveyance, including lots 1 and 2 within sections 31 and 32, and land underlying Chilchukabena Lake and an unnamed lake. The Secretary must reserve public easements required under section 17(b) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Doyon, Limited is restricted from alienating the land, authorizing mining activities, or permitting development that would derogate the cultural value of the Geese House. The conveyed land will be treated as Federal land conveyed under section 14(h)(8) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. The boundary of Denali National Park and Preserve will be adjusted to exclude the conveyed land and, where possible, match a proposed boundary map.
