Priority is given to consortia comprised of State agencies from multiple States and entities using funds to expand the adoption and use of structured data on skills and credentials. Grant funds can be used for activities such as data linkages, research, and improving staff capacity to analyze data. Grants may be for a period of not more than 3 years and are intended to supplement, not supplant, existing funds. Recipients must submit a report to the Secretary within 180 days of the grant period's conclusion detailing activities and improvements.
