This section establishes funding appropriations for specified agricultural research agencies. For fiscal year 2027, funding recipients will receive an amount equal to 105% of their fiscal year 2026 budget authority, adjusted for inflation. For fiscal years 2028 through 2036, funding will be 105% of the previous year's appropriation, adjusted for inflation. From fiscal year 2037 onward, funding will be based on the previous year's appropriation, adjusted for inflation. The funding recipients include the Agricultural Research Service, the Economic Research Service, the National Agricultural Statistics Service, and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture. Appropriated funds remain available for obligation through the last day of the fiscal year.
