This section amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to establish a Corporate Crime Database at the Bureau of Justice Statistics. The Director of the Bureau shall collect, aggregate, and analyze information regarding enforcement actions taken with respect to corporate offenses. The database will be published on the Bureau's website and include information such as the business entity, individual, employer, parent company, type of offense, statute or regulation violated, Federal agency, and outcome of the enforcement action. Federal agencies are required to submit information to the Director according to established guidance. The Director must publish the database in a searchable, downloadable, and accessible format within one year of enactment. The Director shall submit an annual report to Congress including a description of the data collected, an estimate of the impact of corporate offenses, and recommendations for improvement.
