The Administrator must expedite decisions on pending permits and transfer relevant information to the State upon approval of the application. Denials of applications are limited to findings that the State does not meet the criteria described in paragraph (1)(A). The Administrator cannot condition approval on provisions not already in the application. The Administrator must designate an individual to coordinate activities related to Class VI well applications and reviews for each State. Within 90 days of enactment, the Administrator must submit a report to Congress describing the availability of staff and resources to implement these changes. Amounts made available under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act can be used to carry out the report requirement. The amendments apply to all new applications and notices submitted on or after the date of enactment.
