Producers are eligible for payments if their average adjusted gross income is less than $5,000,000 or if they derive at least 75% of their adjusted gross income from farming, ranching, or forestry. A 'seasonal marketing window' is defined as the season of a crop year in which the crop is normally marketed and concludes no later than 8 weeks after the last day of harvest. A 'reference price' is the national average market price received by producers for domestically produced seasonal and perishable crops over the most recent three marketing seasons. A 'seasonal and perishable crop' includes fresh or chilled specialty crops classified under specific HS2020 tariff codes, marketed in raw form, and normally marketed within 8 weeks of harvesting.
