Each year, the Administrator must consult with local law enforcement to determine the most effective and least hazardous means to take protective actions. This section also establishes authority for entities licensed to conduct launch, reentry, testing, or manufacturing activities to protect their property from unmanned aircraft, similar to the NASA provisions. Forfeited unmanned aircraft under this section are subject to forfeiture to the local law enforcement agency.
