This section amends Section 313 of the Public Health Service Act to expand the focus of the Maternal Vaccination Awareness and Equity Campaign to include pregnant and postpartum individuals. The amendment modifies subsection (c)(3) to replace 'prenatal and pediatric' with 'prenatal, obstetric, and pediatric'. Subsection (d)(4)(B) is amended to include pregnant and postpartum individuals. Funding for the Maternal Vaccination Awareness and Equity Campaign is increased to $17,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031. Section 317(k)(1)(E) of the Public Health Service Act is amended to include activities aimed at increasing vaccination rates of pregnant and postpartum individuals, including individuals from racial and ethnic minority groups, and their children.
