Funding made available under this section is temporary, lasting until the regular appropriation bill or a continuing appropriations resolution becomes law, or 180 days after the lapse begins. The terms and conditions applied to the preceding year's funding will also apply during the lapse. If this section is in effect at the end of a fiscal year, funding levels continue into the next fiscal year.
