Pilots aged 60 or older must hold a first-class medical certificate, which expires six months after the examination date. Air carriers must continue using FAA-approved pilot training and qualification programs. The FAA Administrator must submit a report to Congress within 180 days of enactment regarding further increasing the age limitation.
