This section amends Section 1477 of the Food and Agriculture Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3324). It increases funding for programs under Section 1477 to $15,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030. It establishes that the limitation on indirect costs under section 1462 applies to awards made under this subtitle. It removes the limitation on indirect costs under section 1473 with respect to such awards. These changes are effective beginning on the date of enactment of the Promoting American Competition in Aquaculture Research Act.
