The Secretary may provide assistance on a multiyear basis and conduct annual reviews of multiyear grants. Funds cannot be used to directly assist for-profit corporations promoting foreign-produced products or for-profit corporations not recognized as small businesses, with exceptions for cooperatives, associations, and nonprofit trade associations. The Secretary will monitor expenditures and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans. Eligible organizations include agricultural trade organizations, cooperatives, state agencies, private organizations, and specialty crop organizations operating under Federal marketing orders. There is authorized to be appropriated $75,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter to carry out this section.
