The Comptroller General of the United States must conduct a study and report to Congress within 12 months of enactment regarding the economic sustainability of long-term care pharmacy participation in the Medicare prescription drug program. The study will analyze payment to long-term care pharmacies, compliance costs, and changes to payment during the five years preceding enactment.
