The limitation does not apply to cut flowers or cut greens used for personal display by federal officers or employees. “Cut flower” is defined as a flower removed from a living plant for decorative use. “Cut green” is defined as green, foliage, or branch removed from a living plant for decorative use. “Produced in the United States” means grown in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, a U.S. territory or possession, or an area under the jurisdiction of a federally recognized Indian Tribe. This Act will take effect one year after its enactment.
