This section amends Chapter 55 of title 10, United States Code, by adding section 1076g. The Secretary of Defense must designate geographical areas in Puerto Rico for TRICARE Prime in a manner similar to other states. Individuals in Puerto Rico who would otherwise be eligible for travel and transportation allowances under section 1074i of title 10 are eligible to receive those allowances. The Secretary of Defense may revise regulations to administer the travel benefits. The Director of the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization Office must coordinate with the Director of the Department of Health of Puerto Rico to share health information. The Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization Office is defined as the Office established under section 1635(b) of the Wounded Warrior Act. The Secretary of Defense must submit a report to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees within 180 days of the Act's enactment regarding the implementation of section 1076g.
