Section 1848(c)(2)(B)(iv) is amended to ensure that the payment increases resulting from the behavioral health integration incentives are not considered when applying budget neutrality calculations for 2027, 2028, and 2029. The Secretary of Health and Human Services is directed to provide technical assistance to primary care practices seeking to adopt behavioral health integration models, including the Collaborative Care Model and the Primary Care Behavioral Health model. Funding is appropriated to the Secretary for fiscal years 2025 through 2029 to carry out the technical assistance program.
